Solution
A manufacturer of injection molded electrical connectors for automotive, aeronautical and other applications was having dif culty maintaining the mold temperature and ow of plastic. Mokon's design engineers went to work calculating the heating and cooling loads to insure we were selecting the right system and options to meet the customer's specifications.
Mokon recommended their compact Hydrotherm design which offers faster heat up and cool down times compared to competitive units that were too large and slow to react. We provided a comprehensive temperature control solution that minimized waste and reduced time required to change tools and start equipment. Production goals were exceeded and our extremely satis ed customer maximized product output and improved quality.
The customer was so impressed with the performance and features they now have a Mokon water temperature control system on all of their 72 injection molding machines.
