Mokon Expands Line of Iceman SC Portable Chillers

Buffalo, NY (May 2, 2017) — Mokon, an international leader in high-quality circulating liquid temperature control systems, is pleased to announce an expansion of its Iceman SC Series line of portable chillers. These new chillers will have an available fluid temperature range of 5°F to 30°F (-15°C to -1°C).

“The addition of the ASL and WSL line of portable chillers to our SC Series family offers our customers a greater selection for their process cooling requirements,” Rob Kennery, vice president of sales and marketing, says. “Mokon is always striving to meet the needs of our customers.”

Mokon's new ASL and WSL portable chillers have the same features of the Iceman SC but provide a lower temperature range. Currently, the Iceman SC Series line offers ½- to 40-Ton chillers and has a fluid temperature range of 20°F to 65°F (-7°C to 18°C). The new ASL and WSL chiller line will have a fluid temperature range of 5°F to 30°F (-15°C to -1°C) and a capacity of 1½ to 7½ Tons.

The Iceman SC Series portable chillers feature:

  • 5°F to 65°F (-15°C to 18°C) fluid temperature range
  • ½- to 40-Ton chilling capacities
  • Air-cooled or water-cooled condensing
  • Scroll compressor
  • Highly efficient brazed plate evaporator
  • Microprocessor-based controller in easily accessible panel
