Responsible for preparing orders for shipment by performing the following duties:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Package and crate machinery for shipment via common carrier.
- Construct custom skids and crates as required.
- Coordinate and prepare required documentation/labels needed for all shipments.
- Fill and ship spare parts orders via designated carrier.
- Order and maintain stock levels of all shipping, packaging and floor stock materials needed for the shipping department.
- Detail units prior to shipment which includes but not limited to; Final unit assembly, verifying serial Tag information and placement, verifying UL label information and placement, verifying placement of any other Labels/logos needed.
- Fill out any/all paperwork needed for the unit being shipped.
- Perform cycle counts in relation to the shipping Department necessary to maintain accurate inventory levels.
Experience
- Knowledge of basic Hand and Power Tool operations required
- Computer literacy required (create, use spreadsheets, maintain files)
- Must be able to operate a powered lift truck
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Schedule: Day shift, Monday to Friday
Work Setting: In-person
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
