May be assigned any of the three main duties such as stock picking, parts distribution, and packaging and disposition of UPS spare part orders by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Pick parts needed for assembly; sign for and inspect deliveries for damage, unload trucks, stage and locate incoming stock, maintain stock locations, fill job/parts shortages, verify receipt quantities, receive items into Navision system, return parts from Assemblers into stock, perform cycle counts, coordinate vendor returns and maintain a clean and efficient stock room, cut incoming lengths of pipe for storage.
- Pull parts needed for UPS spare part order shipments; package and address these packages; keep a daily log of such shipments; deliver packages to UPS area on dock. Help on dock by shipping finished goods when necessary. Help maintain UPS area in a neat and orderly fashion.
- Maintaining a clean and efficient stock room entails:
- Consolidating stock in different areas of stock room.
- Check overflow areas to make sure primary locations are filled.
- Keeping floors broom swept.
- Putting empty containers/packaging in their designated area(s).
- Daily tasks require use of fork lift and automated pipe cutter as necessary.
- Adhere to work instructions and SOP's in accordance with ISO 9001.
Other duties may be assigned.
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Warehouse experience: 1 year (Preferred)
